The Robert Bosch Foundation is inviting applications for a working student position in the funding area “Global Questions” at their Berlin office. This role offers students the opportunity to engage with international cooperation and migration projects while gaining hands-on experience in a leading non-profit organization committed to health, education, and global issues. The foundation, independent and non-partisan, carries forward the legacy of its founder, Robert Bosch, by combining a commitment to social responsibility with sustainable development initiatives.
Selected candidates will be involved in a variety of tasks, including supporting daily operations of the International Cooperation and Migration teams, managing administrative responsibilities, and maintaining databases. They will conduct independent research, prepare findings, and assist in the coordination and processing of funding requests. Additionally, they will provide organizational support for events and projects, from planning through follow-up. Depending on the needs of the teams and the individual’s experience, further administrative and organizational responsibilities may also be assigned.
Applicants are expected to be pursuing studies in fields such as international politics, international relations, social sciences, or related disciplines. Proficiency in MS Office and prior practical experience through internships or student work is desirable, and experience abroad is considered an advantage. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a structured and reliable manner. Strong German and English language skills are required.
The position requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate study plans. Longer-term availability, ideally at least one year, is preferred, and additional hours may be possible during semester breaks. Participants will gain valuable insight into the operations of a non-profit foundation and deepen their understanding of international and global projects.
