The Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2) presents a transformative platform for global climate advocates, policymakers, and innovators to shape the future of Africa’s climate agenda. Held under the theme “Accelerating Global Climate Solutions: Financing for Africa’s Resilient and Green Development”, the summit will take place from September 8–10, 2025, with pre-summit activities scheduled for September 5–7, 2025, at the Addis International Convention Center (AICC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Explore Africa’s natural capital and renewable energy potential.

Day 2: Climate Adaptation & Resilience
Dive into system-level approaches to sustainable development.

Day 3: Climate Finance & Africa-Led Solutions
Focus on mobilizing investments and scaling homegrown innovations.

• Adoption of the African Leaders Addis Ababa Declaration on climate finance and resilience
• Strategic partnerships for a just transition and regional climate action

Host & Convener

Hosted by the Government of Ethiopia, led by Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, in partnership with the African Union, ACS2 builds upon the achievements of ACS1 (Nairobi, 2023), which mobilized over $20 billion in pledges and launched the African Climate Momentum Initiative.
