REMOTE JOB: Youth Climate Justice Fund is looking for a new Community Manager
The Youth Climate Justice Fund is looking for a Community Manager to join our team at the Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF).
As the Community Manager, you'll help support their grantee partners by providing them with resources and training to tackle climate issues. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a difference and is interested in community-building and climate justice.
The YCJF offers trust-based funding and resources to youth climate justice movements around the world. The job is remote and preferably located in the Global South. You'll be paid $230 per day for full-time work, plus benefits.
The contract is renewable and includes vacation time. Your main duties will involve developing strategies to support our grantee partners, coordinating online training, and helping with monitoring and evaluation. You'll also assist in identifying which groups need the most support and building systems to ensure their safety.

Additional Information
**Experience**
Over 5 years of experience dedicated to serving social justice movements, with a bonus for experience supporting movements at various scales. Demonstrated commitment to advancing social justice, particularly within historically marginalized groups such as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), women, queer individuals, and local communities. Passionate about climate justice and committed to addressing the climate crisis by confronting systemic marginalization, exploitation, and oppression while promoting equity and justice. Proven track record in communication and experienced in facilitating both virtual and in-person meetings/events. Possesses agility, quick thinking, and a profound sense of care and compassion when working with communities facing extraordinary organizing conditions. Deeply invested in supporting youth movement leaders and organizations traditionally underserved by mainstream philanthropy. Prior experience successfully managing staff and consultants. Experience in working with and in support of youth climate justice movements is a plus.

**Additional Valued Skills**
Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills. Experience in speaking in one or more of the YCJF working languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Arabic, Hindi, French) or any additional local or indigenous languages.
