The Resilience Project (TRP) is expanding its European Programmes Office and is inviting passionate volunteers to support young climate changemakers across Europe and beyond. As a growing, youth-led organisation focused on climate resilience and wellbeing, TRP offers flexible, meaningful remote opportunities for individuals eager to contribute their time and skills to a global movement.
Whether someone can commit a few hours weekly or is seeking longer-term engagement, these volunteer roles provide hands-on experience in a dynamic organisation supporting young leaders navigating burnout, overwhelm, and climate justice work.
Please note: Volunteering is not positioned as a pathway to paid employment. Paid roles at TRP are limited and highly competitive.
Current Volunteer Openings (Remote)
Community Engagement Volunteer
Commitment: 4 hours per week (flexible)
Ideal Start Date: Week commencing 9 March
Volunteers in this role will help cultivate a vibrant online community by:

Encouraging conversation and connection in WhatsApp groups.

Supporting onboarding of new members.

Monitoring community spaces and raising safeguarding concerns when needed.

Assisting with monitoring and evaluation processes.
Desired Skills:

Clear, concise English writing.

Experience managing online communities.

Familiarity with WhatsApp Business.

Strong organisational skills.
Resource Development Volunteer
Commitment: 4 hours per week
Schedule: Aligned with European/African office hours
Ideal Start Date: Week commencing 9 March
This role focuses on developing wellbeing resources for young climate leaders, including:

Co-creating materials with climate psychologists and youth changemakers.

Writing and editing accessible curriculum content.

Designing visually engaging materials using Canva.

Fact-checking and refining educational resources.
Desired Skills:

Strong copywriting and editing abilities.

Experience developing learning materials.

Canva design skills.
-
Collaborative mindset.
3. Workshops Administration Volunteer
Commitment: 4 hours per week
Preferred Timing: Thursday mornings (CET preferred)
Ideal Start Date: Week commencing 9 March
Responsibilities include:

Supporting workshop promotion and logistics.

Designing pitch decks and proposals.

Coordinating with facilitators and partners.
-
Maintaining organised workshop systems.
Desired Skills:

Persuasive writing and editing.

Canva presentation design.
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
Confidence in proposal development.
