Applications are now open for the Building Bridges 2026 Volunteer Programme, offering students and motivated individuals an opportunity to contribute to one of the leading international conferences on sustainable finance. The seventh edition of the event will take place from 6–8 October 2026 at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG), Switzerland.
Building Bridges brings together more than 2,000 participants from across the global finance sector, governments, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations, academia, philanthropy, startups, and the private sector. The conference features over 60 partner-led events focused on advancing sustainable finance and accelerating progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers will play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of the conference through a variety of assignments, including:
- Assisting with attendee registration and check-in.
- Providing information and directing participants throughout the venue.
- Scanning event badges and supporting cloakroom operations.
- Offering logistical support to event organizers and conference staff.
- Assisting speakers and organizers with basic technical and operational needs.
- Helping ensure sessions and conference activities run smoothly.
Assignments will be scheduled according to each volunteer's availability, with participants typically undertaking a combination of operational and event support duties.
