The African Commonwealth Students’ Convention (ACSC) 2026 has opened applications for volunteers to support its upcoming continental gathering scheduled for 12th – 16th April 2026 in Uganda. The Convention brings together students from across Commonwealth nations in Africa to engage in dialogue and action around education, innovation, science, technology, and youth-led transformation.

Under the 2026 theme, “Unleashing the African Dream,” the Convention seeks to mobilize young leaders who are passionate about shaping Africa’s future through policy engagement, collaboration, and practical solutions. The event serves as a platform for students to exchange ideas, strengthen networks, and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s development within the global Commonwealth framework.

Volunteer Roles Available

Selected volunteers will contribute across key teams, including:

• Content & Social Media

• Protocol & Guest Relations

• Logistics & Operations

• Welfare & Participant Support

• Documentation & Reporting

Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination before and during the Convention, while gaining hands-on experience in leadership, event management, communications, and youth diplomacy.

Selection Process

Due to anticipated high interest, applicants will be shortlisted based on:

• Availability and commitment

• Relevant skills and experience

• Overall suitability for assigned roles
