Three top startups from each of the six focus areas will be chosen to present their solutions at the THRIVE Global Impact Summit held in Silicon Valley.

Each selected finalist will benefit from:

Two free passes to attend the summit and its exclusive pre-summit networking event

A one-on-one pitch refinement session with a seasoned pitch coach

An opportunity to pitch virtually to leading corporate players in the industry

A featured booth at the summit’s startup exhibition

The overall winner will be honored with the THRIVE Global Impact Challenge Award and may receive an investment of up to $1 million USD from SVG Ventures

To qualify for the Global Impact Challenge, applicants must fulfill specific criteria that reflect their capacity to offer innovative and scalable solutions for pressing issues within the agriculture and food sectors:

Startup Stage
Eligible candidates include early-stage ventures ranging from seed to Series A. The program seeks forward-thinking ideas with strong potential for growth and scalability.

Global Participation
Applications are welcomed from across the globe. Startups and entrepreneurs from any region are encouraged to apply, with an emphasis on fostering international collaboration and diverse viewpoints.

Relevance to Key Focus Areas
Submissions must clearly align with one or more of the challenge’s core thematic areas. Proposed solutions should effectively target challenges within these fields and present creative, impactful strategies.

Demonstrated Environmental and Climate Benefits
Applicants are encouraged to showcase measurable results or successful applications of their solutions that contribute to climate action, environmental sustainability, biodiversity, or emissions reduction. Although not a strict requirement, strong evidence of environmental impact is highly regarded.
