Work from Home Opportunity : Become a remote director at Global Forest Coalition (GFC)

Gender Justice and Forests; Climate Justice; Extractive Industries, Tourism and Infrastructure; and Unsustainable Livestock Production are the four main campaigns that the Global Forest Coalition (GFC) is working to coordinate and implement. We are looking for an experienced Director to lead the organization's strategy and oversee these four campaigns.

In addition to organising collaborative advocacy campaigns on topics including the rights of Indigenous Peoples, the necessity of socially equitable forest policy, and tackling the root causes of forest loss, we take part in international forums on forest policy.

Our goal is to defend and promote respect for the rights, territories, traditional knowledge, and sustainable livelihoods of Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and the women who coexist with them in order to campaign for the conservation and restoration of forest ecosystems.

The job type entails a commitment of 24 hours per week.

It's a remote position. GFC is a global organisation. Travel is necessary on sometimes for significant international events.
