A two-week programme that brings together the world's most brilliant minds to discuss and learn from the latest advancements in life science research and inventions. World-class scientists will give lectures and courses at the Westlake University School of Life Sciences, together with practical laboratory experiments and a variety of entertaining and engaging cultural exchange activities.

The Westlake University School of Life Sciences is hosting the "Frontiers of Life Sciences" International Undergraduate Summer Camp 2024, an exciting two-week programme that brings together the world's brightest minds to learn from and share cutting-edge innovations and research in life science.

Leading academics from prestigious universities and institutes throughout the world will teach the 2024 programme. Students will be chosen for the programme based on their exceptional academic performance and leadership qualities. We hope the programme will motivate you to take the lead in the life sciences in the future.

Undergraduate students studying in biology or other biological sciences in their junior (3rd) or senior (4th) year are eligible to attend the tuition-free summer programme.

Program Benefits

There is no cost for the programme. All of the event's events will include lodging and meals. For domestic students, Westlake University will pay for second-class train tickets between domestic locations; for overseas students, the cost of tickets will be covered by economy class.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate students specialising in biology or allied life sciences who are presently in their College Junior (3rd year) or Senior (4th year) or who will be in their College Junior / Senior starting Autumn 2024 are eligible to apply for the programme.
