€930 is the maximum monthly financing amount. Individual doctorate researchers may receive a merit scholarship worth €1,200 per month, contingent on funding availability (about 2-3 merit scholarships are awarded per round).

Merit scholarships are given out for a total of 12 months, or two semesters. You are able to reapply to scholarships. The maximum funding length for well-founded extraordinary instances is three years.

A committee made up of ASTA (student council) members and faculty members awards merit scholarships.
