The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE) program is now accepting applications from leaders working toward social change and addressing inequality. This fully-funded, globally focused fellowship, based at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science, invites policymakers, researchers, activists, practitioners, artists, and movement builders to apply.

The program seeks candidates from the Global South, although this factor is not considered in isolation. Additionally, applicants from marginalized or historically underrepresented groups—such as Black, Latinx/o/a/e, Indigenous, Asian, Arab, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, refugee, biracial, multiracial, female-identifying, the disability community, LGBTQIA+, and others—are encouraged to apply. Priority is also given to those who lack the financial means to participate in such programs and those with limited access to fellowships or scholarships.

### Eligibility Criteria

**Residential Fellows**: Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the MSc in Inequalities and Social Science at the London School of Economics, including holding a 2:1 degree or equivalent in any field. While a background in social science or work in social policy is beneficial, it is not required. Applicants must also satisfy LSE's English language proficiency standards. Additionally, candidates need at least seven years of experience showcasing leadership, compassion, and dedication to promoting equitable solutions to inequality. Those with a PhD, an MSc completed within the last three years, or who are currently pursuing a degree are typically not eligible for the Residential track.

**Non-Residential Fellows**: For this track, applicants must meet LSE's English language standards and have at least seven years of relevant experience addressing inequality with courage, leadership, and care. Unlike the Residential track, applicants without an undergraduate degree, or those with a lower undergraduate degree (2:2 or higher), are also encouraged to apply, with a focus on inclusivity and non-traditional pathways.

### Benefits

The **Residential track** offers full financial support, covering tuition fees for the MSc in Inequalities and Social Science, round-trip travel to and from London at the start and end of the fellowship year, and any visa or immigration-related expenses. Fellows also receive a stipend of £23,000 to cover living expenses while in London.

The **Non-Residential track** is also fully funded, covering costs associated with the Postgraduate Certificate, travel to and from program modules, accommodation during the modules, and visa-related fees. In addition, Non-Residential Fellows receive up to £10,000 in grant funding to support their fellowship project.
