REMOTE; Apply to join the Oxford School of Climate Change for young changemakers

The Oxford Climate Society is excited to share that applications for the upcoming term of the Oxford School of Climate Change are officially open!

This program has been updated with a refreshed syllabus, offering a foundational exploration into the multifaceted nature of climate science. Over the course of eight weeks, participants will gain a broad understanding of key topics, including the scientific principles driving climate change, as well as its legal, economic, and governance dimensions.

Delivered by esteemed academics from Oxford and hosted by the Oxford Climate Society, the program is structured to provide a comprehensive overview of the core aspects of climate change. Sessions will take place weekly on Thursday evenings, running from January 23rd to March 13th, 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00 UK time.

The course format includes live presentations, interactive Q&A segments, expert panels, and hands-on workshops. For those unable to attend live, all sessions will be recorded and made available later in the week.

While the program suggests a £10 donation for participation, we welcome everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, under our “no questions asked” policy for those in need.
