The United Nations Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology, and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) is inviting innovators to showcase transformative solutions that address key sustainable development challenges, particularly in low-resource settings. This year’s search for innovations is being organized in partnership with Engineering for Change, focusing on specific SDGs:

• SDG 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
• SDG 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
• SDG 8: Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all
• SDG 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development
• SDG 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development

Innovators with solutions aligned with these SDGs are encouraged to participate in the STI Forum to contribute to global action and knowledge exchange. This is a unique opportunity to present groundbreaking innovations and foster collaboration among global innovators, policymakers, and experts.

• Forum Dates: May 7–8, 2025

How to Participate:

Innovators can submit their solutions for consideration in the following tracks:

• Thematic Sessions: Present lightning talks on solutions that directly align with specific SDGs.
• Innovation Showcase: Display your solutions at the Forum and network with key stakeholders.
• Innovation Roundtable: Engage with global experts and thought leaders on scaling up innovations.

How You Can Get Involved:

• Submit Innovations: Share your solution, whether it’s a new idea or a funded innovation, to inspire action and progress toward the SDGs.
• Encourage Participation: Motivate other innovators within your network to submit their solutions.
• Spread the Word: Help amplify this call by sharing it within your community to uncover groundbreaking ideas that can change the world.
