Companies that offer solutions benefiting communities affected by climate change are highly encouraged to apply.
They collaborate with early-stage entrepreneurs and solo founders, some of whom may not yet have established a legal entity. They are specifically seeking pre-seed companies, which may have secured grant funding but have not yet raised substantial investments from institutional investors.
Applicants can be based anywhere globally, but they must demonstrate how their solution aligns with New York State's climate goals outlined in the Climate Leadership and Protection Act.
