The 2025 ITU Generation Connect Young Leadership Program is now accepting applications. Engaging, empowering, and inspiring young digital leaders and changemakers is the goal of the Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme (GCYLP).
Young visionaries from all over the world who put up imaginative, ambitious, creative, and doable community-driven projects that aim to build a more empowered and inclusive digital future are being supported by GCYLP.
Every year, 30 young fellows get financial support, training, and coaching from ITU and Huawei to help them successfully implement digital development projects in their varied communities around the world. Young leaders have the exceptional chance to realise their ideas for digital growth or increase the effect of their current efforts through this program!

involvement in a live global development week in July 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
You can use a grant of up to $10,000 USD to carry out a digital development project of your choosing. An initial stipend of $5,000 USD will be given to each of the 30 fellows who are chosen to carry out a digital development project of their choosing. An additional $5,000 USD grant to scale up will be awarded to the most significant projects at the conclusion of the year.
Do you want to take the lead on your own digital development project and truly touch your communities?
Do you now attend a postsecondary educational institution that offers STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs, or have you recently completed one?
The program's primary language is English; can you converse in it? This language requirement is in place to guarantee that all fellows can take advantage of the events, networking opportunities, and trainings that are scheduled.
