Fully Funded To Beijing, China : Apply for the SDG Youth Public Policy Innovation Challenge 2025: Tackling Food Security and Poverty

The SDG Youth Public Policy Innovation Challenge 2025 is a global initiative aimed at empowering young leaders to craft innovative policy solutions for food security and poverty reduction. This fully funded program invites youth to apply entrepreneurial thinking, cutting-edge technology, and research-based strategies to tackle real-world development issues. The event will be held from July 24–28, 2025, in Beijing, China.

Participants will form teams to explore urgent global challenges, develop creative policy solutions, and present actionable proposals. Winning teams will benefit from prizes, expert mentorship, and academic support, along with the opportunity to take part in institutional visits, field research, and academic exchanges in Beijing—all expenses covered by the program. Outstanding participants may also be recommended for the United Nations On-the-Job Training Program and receive recognition from the alliance’s board of directors.

  • Only the designated Team Representative is authorized to submit the application.
  • The representative must ensure that all team member information and proposal content are complete and accurate.
  • By submitting, the Team Representative confirms that all team members have agreed to participate and all details provided are correct.
  • Note: Applications cannot be edited after submission, so ensure all sections are complete before applying.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.

Each team must have 1 to 3 members.

Open to university students and young innovators worldwide.

Teams must submit a proposal aligned with the challenge theme on food security and poverty, following the provided guidelines.

If selected for Category I, teams must present in person; Category II participants will present online.
