Fully Funded To Italy : Apply for the Open Africa Power 2025 program – Empowering Africa’s Next Generation of Clean Energy Leaders

Are you a passionate young professional driving Africa's energy transition? Apply now for the Open Africa Power 2025 program—an initiative by Enel Foundation and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) aimed at equipping future energy leaders with the technical, regulatory, and business expertise to lead Africa toward a sustainable energy future.

This fully funded program will select up to 80 outstanding African candidates (at least 50% women) for a blend of online and in-person learning, site visits in Italy, and professional development in partnership with top universities in Italy and Africa.

🔍 Program Highlights

  • Digital African Module (June–July 2025): Covers energy technologies, regulation, ICT, and gender balance in the energy sector.
  • External Online Course (June–October 2025): Policy and regulatory frameworks for sustainable energy, with certification upon completion.
  • Italian Residential Week (Second half of 2025): Site visits, interactive sessions, and networking with leaders in academia, business, and policy.
  • Online Italian Module (Oct–Dec 2025): Courses from top Italian universities on energy innovation and transition.
  • Give Back Module: Alumni may be invited to support education and outreach in Africa.

Eligibility Criteria
Aged 24–35 by April 14, 2025.

Citizen and resident (or planning to return) of an African country.

Graduated (by April 16, 2025) with a PhD, MBA, or Master's degree (at least one from an African university).

Proficient in English (C1 level).

Committed to working in the electricity and clean energy sector.

Dedicated to promoting gender equality in energy leadership.
Eligible Countries
Citizen and resident (or planning to return) of an African country.
