Applications are open for the Dalai Lama Fellows Program 2026, a year-long leadership and personal development fellowship that brings together young social innovators from around the world. Fellows engage in a rigorous curriculum grounded in mindfulness, compassion, and ethical leadership, designed to strengthen their capacity to lead with integrity and courage. The program empowers participants to address global challenges in fields such as education, health, environment, human rights, and cultural understanding, while promoting emotional intelligence and resilience in leadership.

Additional Information
Participants are paired with coaches and mentors who guide them throughout their journey, helping them refine their projects and enhance their leadership impact. They also gain entry into a global community of changemakers, fostering peer learning, cultural exchange, and lifelong collaboration.
Travel, accommodation, and meals for the Contemplative Leadership Assembly are fully covered by the program.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, as the fellowship’s sessions, coaching, and learning materials are all conducted in English. Successful candidates must be willing to dedicate about 12 hours per month to fellowship activities, including virtual sessions, mentorship, and personal reflection. Additionally, fellows are expected to participate fully in the Contemplative Leadership Assembly, a week-long in-person gathering that brings together all participants for intensive learning, practice, and connection.
