Applications are now open for the World Bank Group Treasury 2027 Summer Internship Program, a paid professional development opportunity designed for undergraduate students interested in finance, economics, business, and international development. The program offers participants the chance to gain practical experience while working with one of the world's leading international financial institutions in Washington, D.C., USA.
Running from 1 June to 9 August 2027, the ten-week internship provides exposure to global financial markets, treasury operations, asset management, capital markets, and international development finance. Interns rotate across multiple Treasury teams, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and participate in technical training, networking sessions, and a final capstone presentation.

Internship Structure
Throughout the internship, participants will complete:
- An onboarding week
- Three professional rotations across Treasury divisions

The internship is conducted in person at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Additional Information
- Paid full-time internship (approximately US$22.70–US$27.70 per hour, depending on eligibility and employment status)

- Not hold another internship or employment during the program
- Previous experience in finance, investment, research, leadership activities, or data analysis is considered an advantage.
