Call for Nominations : Diana Award Development Programme 2026

Applications are open for the Diana Award Development Programme 2026, a new six-month Development Programme designed to help young changemakers across Africa and Asia strengthen and grow the social action work they are already leading.

Supported by AGFUND, the pilot programme will bring together Diana Award Recipients for practical learning, expert guidance, peer collaboration and personalised development support. The programme is particularly focused on helping young leaders improve the sustainability, visibility and long-term impact of their projects, campaigns and community initiatives.

About the Programme

The Development Programme is intended for young people who have already been recognised as Diana Award Recipients and are actively involved in social action.

Over six months, participants will have opportunities to develop their leadership skills, build stronger partnerships, explore funding and sustainability strategies, and learn how to communicate and demonstrate the impact of their work.

The programme will be delivered entirely online, allowing participants from different countries across Africa and Asia to connect and learn together.

Programme Topics

The six-month programme will explore a range of topics, including:

  • Leadership and sustainable change
  • Time and energy management
  • Wellbeing and resilience
  • Measuring and demonstrating impact
  • Strategic storytelling and visibility

How the Programme Works
