You can get support through the Leading The Americas Scholarship if you are a young leader from The Americas.
One Young World is a group for young leaders. It helps them do more to help others, learn new things, and be known better. At the yearly One Young World Summit, 2,000 young leaders from over 190 countries talk about and solve big problems.
They make friends, share what they know, and get inspired by leaders like Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman, and Mary Robinson. After the Summit, attendees go back to their communities with new ideas and friends.
They become One Young World Ambassadors and work on projects to help their communities. One Young World wants to find the best young leaders from every country and give them scholarships to go to the Summit. If you’re a young leader from The Americas making good changes, we want to bring you to the Summit.
The Leading The Americas Scholarship pays for entry to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada, hotel stay from September 17th to 21st, 2024, meals like breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and travel costs to and from Montréal, Canada. Your flights must start and end at the same international airport.

You qualify for sponsorship if you:
- Are aged between 18 and 30.
- Show a clear commitment to making positive changes.
- Demonstrate leadership skills.
- Work on important local or global issues.
- Have a history of creating impactful and innovative ideas.
- Are a citizen (passport holder) of a country in North or South America or the Caribbean.
