Selected startups will receive tailored mentorship from industry experts, UNICEF innovation specialists, and business development professionals. Participants will gain technical guidance to improve their products, refine their business strategies, and strengthen their impact measurement frameworks. The programme also offers access to a strong network of investors, development partners, and innovation hubs, as well as visibility within the UNICEF ecosystem. Startups will benefit from capacity-building sessions, peer learning opportunities, and strategic support aimed at preparing them for growth, partnerships, and potential future funding opportunities.

The programme is open to early-stage startups and social enterprises that are building innovative, technology-enabled solutions with a clear social impact focus. Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to solving challenges that affect children, adolescents, and young people, particularly in areas such as education, health, climate action, social protection, and digital inclusion. Startups are expected to have a functional product or prototype and a motivated founding team capable of engaging fully in the six-month accelerator programme. While the programme is implemented by UNICEF Ghana, applications are welcomed from founders operating across Africa and other emerging markets who are interested in collaborating with UNICEF and scaling their solutions responsibly.
