Women entrepreneurs building businesses across Africa’s agriculture and food systems sector are invited to apply for AgriPro Catalyst W, a 12-week accelerator designed to support 40 women-led agribusinesses with the tools, networks and opportunities needed to grow and expand.

The programme is designed for women who are already building ventures in areas such as agriculture, food processing, agri-finance, agricultural technology, logistics, market access and food systems infrastructure. Rather than focusing only on classroom-based training, AgriPro Catalyst W aims to help participating businesses strengthen their operations and prepare for sustainable growth.

Selected businesses will have opportunities to strengthen their business models, explore new markets, improve their readiness for infrastructure and growth, connect with potential sources of capital, and build relationships with other entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem partners and business leaders from across Africa. The accelerator will provide a collaborative environment where participants can work on real business challenges and develop practical strategies for taking their ventures to the next level.

The programme comes at a significant time as 2026 marks the International Year of the Woman Farmer, highlighting the important contribution women make to agriculture and food systems. AgriPro Catalyst W seeks to support women who are already creating businesses, jobs and solutions across the agricultural value chain while helping them overcome barriers related to funding, market access, networks and business growth.

A total of 40 women-led agribusinesses will be selected for the 12-week accelerator. Applicants should be women-led ventures operating within Africa’s agriculture, food and related sectors and should be ready to strengthen their businesses, access new opportunities and engage with a Pan-African community of entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders.
