Be part of the Africa Resilience Academy Cohort 2 (2026)
BANYANI has opened applications for Africa Resilience Academy (ARA) – Cohort 2, a flagship leadership and innovation programme focused on strengthening sustainability and climate resilience across Africa.
The 2026 cohort is guided by the theme: “Local Solutions, Lasting Impact: Applied Resilience for Africa.” The Academy seeks to support emerging leaders, practitioners, and changemakers who are actively working to address environmental, social, and development challenges within their communities and sectors.
Participants will gain practical skills to design, finance, and implement climate and development initiatives, while also building strong peer networks across the continent. The programme emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration, and co-creation of solutions that respond to real, local resilience challenges.
The Academy is particularly suitable for individuals working in areas such as climate adaptation, sustainability, community development, environmental management, and social innovation, who are motivated to scale their impact and contribute to resilient African communities.
Applications can be submitted through the official Africa Resilience Academy registration portal.
