The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC), with support from Dubai Cares and in partnership with Plan International and Unbounded Associates, is excited to launch the second edition of its hands-on initiative — the Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Program.
Aimed at young individuals aged 14 to 20, this program expands on the foundation laid by the Your Future in Green Jobs Online Course. It helps youth link their passions, talents, and interests to purposeful career opportunities in the green economy.
Participants will take part in interactive workshops, receive personalized guidance from green sector professionals, and put their learning into action by designing and carrying out their own SDG Micro-Project. These projects will address one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level, helping build more sustainable and resilient communities.
Program Timeline

June 2025: Virtual Kick-off Ceremony

July – December 2025: Independent SDG Micro-Project implementation with ongoing mentorship and BKMC check-ins
