Be part of the Geneva Peace Forum 2026
Applications are open for Organizations working in peacebuilding, dialogue, conflict prevention, and social cohesion are invited to take part in the 2026 Geneva Peace Forum, formerly known as Geneva Peace Week.
The upcoming edition will be organized under the theme “Choose Peace”, offering institutions and networks worldwide an opportunity to contribute to global discussions shaping the future of peacebuilding.
The forum will take place from 12–15 October 2026 at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland.
About the Geneva Peace Forum
The Geneva Peace Forum serves as a global platform bringing together policymakers, practitioners, researchers, civil society organizations, and international institutions committed to advancing peace and dialogue worldwide.
Through collaborative discussions and knowledge exchange, the forum encourages innovative solutions to contemporary peace and security challenges while strengthening international cooperation.
Types of Contributions Accepted
Organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for inclusion in the official 2026 programme through one of the following formats:
- Hybrid panel discussions
- Interactive workshops (in-person or online)
- Documentary film screenings
Selected sessions will become part of the official programme engaging a global audience of peacebuilding experts and stakeholders.

- Application Deadline: 15 May 2026 (Midnight — strict deadline)
- Selection Results: End of June 2026
- Participation Confirmation: 06 July 2026
- Kick-Off Sessions: 01–02 September 2026
- Final Concept Note Submission: 09 September 2026
- Programme Release: 16 September 2026
- Run-of-Show Submission: 05 October 2026
- Geneva Peace Forum Event: 12–15 October 2026
- Event Documentation Sent: End of October 2026
- Event Notes Deadline: 09 November 2026
All submissions will be reviewed by the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform consortium, with selected contributors invited to shape the official programme.

The 2026 edition marks an important evolution as Geneva Peace Week transitions into the Geneva Peace Forum, reflecting an expanded vision focused on action-oriented dialogue and collaborative peace solutions.
