Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA) is excited to welcome applications from individuals affiliated with TJNA member organizations for the 2023 International Tax Justice Academy (ITJA) training program. The revamped curriculum is designed as a foundational level program for newcomers to the tax justice field, aiming to equip them as tax justice champions. The training will be delivered in a hybrid format, with online sessions from September 5th to 21st, 2023, and physical sessions in Nairobi, Kenya, from September 25th to 27th, 2023. The ITJA, a pan-African initiative by TJNA, seeks to enhance tax justice knowledge and advocacy across the continent under the theme "Building the next generation of tax justice champions." Topics covered will include taxation foundations, international taxation, tax transparency, natural resource taxation, and more. To apply, interested individuals should complete the online application form (in the official link below) by the deadline on August 9, 2023, with priority given to newcomers in the tax justice space. Successful applicants will be notified accordingly.
