This global award celebrates young innovators who are leading bold solutions to address pressing environmental challenges and drive sustainable change.
Recognized as one of the United Nations’ highest honors for youth-led environmental action, the programme identifies and supports individuals whose ideas are already making a tangible difference.
About the Award
Each year, a select group of young entrepreneurs from different regions of the world is chosen for their commitment to protecting the environment through innovative and scalable ideas.
The initiative supports individuals who are not only passionate about sustainability but are also actively working to turn their ideas into impactful solutions.

- Seed funding of up to USD 10,000 to scale their environmental projects
- Access to a global network of environmental leaders, experts, and mentors
- Training, mentorship, and workshops to strengthen leadership and business skills

- Opportunity to compete for an additional Planet A grant of up to USD 100,000
- A multimedia toolkit and communications support to share their journey
- Have been actively developing or implementing an environmental solution for at least six months
