Individuals and organizations working to advance nature-based solutions are invited to apply for the Futures with Nature Open Call 2026, an initiative that highlights innovative ideas, projects, and policies that contribute to a more sustainable relationship between people and nature.
The selected contributions will be showcased during NetworkNature Week, held as part of the Nature-based Solutions International Congress 2026 in Paris, France, from 2–6 November 2026.
About the Open Call
The initiative seeks forward-thinking proposals that demonstrate how nature can play a central role in addressing environmental and societal challenges. Organizers are looking for inspiring stories, practical solutions, policy innovations, creative concepts, and community-led initiatives that can encourage wider adoption of nature-based approaches across Europe and beyond.
Applications are welcome from a broad range of sectors and disciplines, with opportunities available to participate as a speaker, workshop facilitator, or exhibition contributor.
Participation Opportunities
Successful applicants may have the opportunity to:
- Present their work as a speaker during NetworkNature Week events.
- Facilitate interactive workshops with international participants.
- Showcase their ideas through the Future Postcards Exhibition, highlighting inspiring visions for nature-positive futures.

Travel support is available for selected speakers, while exhibition contributors will receive professionally designed and printed postcards featuring their submissions.

Projects, policies, artistic concepts, research findings, and community initiatives are all welcome.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the NetworkNature team based on the quality, originality, relevance, and potential impact of the proposed contribution. Successful applicants will be contacted by email within approximately two weeks after the application deadline.
