Applications are now open for the European Climate Mobility Justice Academy (ECMJA) 2026, an interactive online learning programme designed to deepen understanding of climate-related mobility and justice challenges within the European context.

The academy is delivered by Beyond Climate Collaborative, in collaboration with Climate Outreach, Climate and Migration Coalition, and Youth and Environment Europe.

This four-week virtual course brings together researchers, students, policymakers, and practitioners to explore how climate change influences migration, displacement, and social justice debates across Europe.

The European Climate Mobility Justice Academy examines climate mobility through a justice-focused perspective, encouraging participants to critically engage with policy, research, and public narratives surrounding climate-driven movement.

Participants will explore:

• Current research and data on climate mobility trends in Europe
• Links between climate change, inequality, migration, and human rights
• European policy and legal frameworks related to climate migration
• Media narratives and political discourse shaping migration debates
• Real-world case studies and emerging policy discussions
