Program Benefits
Selected fellows will receive a fully funded summer research experience at Yale University. Each fellow is paired with a Yale faculty mentor to conduct research in environmental studies, policy, or science. In addition to research experience, fellows receive professional development, guidance on graduate school applications, GRE preparation support, and networking opportunities with environmental scholars and professionals.

The program also covers travel, housing, meals, and a living stipend, allowing fellows to focus entirely on their research and learning experience. Participants will benefit from mentorship, academic enrichment, and a supportive community committed to advancing diversity in environmental fields.
Eligibility Criteria
The program welcomes applications from talented individuals with a passion for environmental science, sustainability, and equity. Applicants must be:
• U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.
• Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a college or university in the United States.
• From backgrounds that are underrepresented in the environmental field, including but not limited to first-generation college students, students of color, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Please note that international students are not eligible, unless they are currently enrolled at Yale University. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing graduate study and a long-term commitment to environmental work in academia, government, or the nonprofit sector.
