Applications are open for the 2026 Aspire Leaders Program, a fully funded, virtual, and international leadership experience created specifically for young adults aged 18–29 who come from first-generation or limited-income backgrounds. This opportunity is designed to equip emerging leaders with world-class training, personalized guidance, and meaningful learning experiences developed in partnership with educators from Harvard University and other globally respected institutions.

The first cohort for the 2026 cycle begins accepting applications on November 24, 2025. All learning materials and sessions are offered in English. Eligible individuals are those who fall within the required age range, grew up in a low-income household or are the first in their family to pursue higher education, and are either currently enrolled in a university program or have completed their degree recently. Anyone who meets these conditions and submits the brief 10-minute application will receive a spot in the program.

The initiative is delivered entirely online and is structured to provide a rich, flexible, and interactive leadership journey. Participants engage with a global community of peers, gain insight from world-renowned instructors, and explore tools that can enhance both their academic and professional trajectories. The first stage focuses on personal growth and career readiness, offering leadership assessments, resources developed alongside Harvard Business School, and training in résumé building, LinkedIn improvement, interview preparation, and professional networking. Participants also take part in live virtual sessions that bring together learners from around the world.

The next phase features a comprehensive leadership course created and taught by Harvard University faculty. During this period, learners examine themes such as self-awareness, the role of trust and context in leadership, the influence of digital innovation and artificial intelligence, and how to analyze challenges within their communities. They also explore ways to create meaningful impact both locally and globally.

Throughout the experience, participants attend live masterclasses led by experts from internationally recognized universities. These interactive sessions allow learners to engage in real-time conversations, expand their networks, and deepen their understanding of key leadership topics.

Upon completing the program, graduates join an active global alumni network made up of changemakers, mentors, and innovators. Former participants continue to benefit from advanced leadership opportunities, professional development resources, funding competitions, and additional fellowships and programs designed to support their long-term growth.

For the first 2026 cohort, the program will run from February 4 to April 7, 2026, and the application deadline is January 21, 2026.
