FULLY FUNDED: Apply For The D-Prize Challenge 2026/2027 for Social Entrepreneurs

Applications are open for the D-Prize Challenge 2026/2027, a prestigious opportunity for aspiring social entrepreneurs ready to launch innovative organizations that distribute proven solutions to fight extreme poverty. Rather than funding new inventions, D-Prize supports entrepreneurs who can scale interventions that already work in areas such as health, education, agriculture, livelihoods, and public services. Successful applicants receive seed funding of up to $20,000 to pilot their venture and potentially grow it to impact thousands or even millions of people.

Program Benefits
Selected entrepreneurs receive up to $20,000 in seed funding to launch a pilot project. D-Prize has helped launch many ventures that have gone on to create significant development impact.
Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is open globally to applicants from all countries. Individuals aged 18 and above from any nationality can apply, especially aspiring entrepreneurs from low- and middle-income countries, who are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.

Applicants should typically be launching a new organization, as D-Prize mainly supports early-stage founders, many of whom are first-time entrepreneurs. Organizations that have operated for more than 18 months full-time or raised over $30,000 in outside funding are generally not eligible, although some exceptions may be considered if the organization’s core focus is distributing an existing evidence-based poverty intervention. Applicants may apply as individuals or teams and can choose from multiple challenge areas or propose a custom intervention aligned with D-Prize’s mission.
