Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is open to professionals who have the legal right to work in any of the program’s countries of operation, which include: Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Burundi, and Malawi. Candidates must already hold the right to work in one of these countries; One Acre Fund does not provide work permit sponsorship for this role. 
You must have a bachelor’s degree or higher, along with 2–4 years of relevant work experience in fields such as project management, stakeholder engagement, strategy, monitoring and evaluation, or development programming. Professional working proficiency in English is required, and fluency in a local language of a program country (e.g., Swahili, Kinyarwanda, French, Amharic) is desired. 
Successful candidates should demonstrate strong competencies in creating structured project plans, using data to inform decisions, managing partnerships, and adapting strategic recommendations into action. Experience or exposure to social enterprises, agriculture, rural development, or related sectors is advantageous but not strictly required.
