Program Benefits

The fellowship provides up to €20,000 for tuition costs and up to €20,000 for living expenses during the master’s programme, covering a maximum of €40,000 in support. In addition, recipients may undertake a paid internship of up to 12 months at the IAEA or its partner institutions, gaining practical experience, networking opportunities, mentorship, and career development through participation in professional events and access to the MSCFP alumni network.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be female students from IAEA Member States who are already enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a master’s programme in a nuclear-related field such as nuclear engineering, physics, medicine, safety, security, or non-proliferation at an accredited university. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong academic records, typically equivalent to above-average grades (e.g., GPA 3.0/4.0 or 75%), and must show a commitment to advancing careers in the nuclear sector.
