Selected fellows will receive a fully funded residency in Stuttgart, including a furnished live/work studio with utilities, a monthly stipend of €1,300, and a one-time travel allowance for arrival and departure. Fellows will also benefit from the dynamic international community at Akademie Schloss Solitude, where they can collaborate and exchange ideas with peers from diverse disciplines and regions.

Applicants must have two to ten years of independent professional practice following their education. PhD candidates are welcome to apply, but individuals who are still enrolled in university or undergoing formal training are not eligible. Collectives of up to two people may apply if they have worked together consistently for at least two years.

Applicants should not hold permanent professorships or equivalent full-time academic posts. The working languages at the Akademie are English and German, though English is the primary language used for communication. Applicants from all disciplines, backgrounds, and countries are encouraged to apply.
