FULLY FUNDED : Apply for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization internship program for Near East and North Africa (RNE)

An international organization dedicated to eradicating hunger and ensuring food security for all is the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Talented youth have the chance to learn through the FAO Internship Program and obtain real-world job experience in a field relevant to FAO's mission. Interns will support the FAO's Strategic Framework and the UN Sustainable Development Goals by building more resilient, inclusive, efficient, and sustainable agri-food systems.

Young people have the opportunity to learn about and support FAO's mission to end hunger and achieve food security for all through the FAO Internship Program. In addition to contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and FAO's Strategic Framework, interns will have real-world work experience in a field relevant to the organization's activities.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for FAO positions must be between the ages of 21 and 30 years old, enrolled in an accredited school, have a working knowledge of at least one FAO language, and specialize in a relevant field. They need to be proficient communicators and able to adjust to a multicultural, international setting.

Application Procedure
FAO does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, processing). Qualified female applicants and qualified nationals of non- and under-represented Members, as well as candidates from Low-Income Food-Deficit Countries (LIFDCs), Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Land-locked Developing Countries (LLDCs), and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) are encouraged to apply to this Call for Expression of Interest. All applications will be reviewed, and only qualified applicants will be directly contacted for interviews by the hiring office and contacted again, if selected.
