FULLY FUNDED: Apply For The World Bank Group Youth Summit 2026 (WBGYS26) – Delegate & Pitch Competition Tracks

Applications are open for the 2026 World Bank Group Youth Summit, a global platform that brings together young changemakers from across the world to engage in high-level conversations and shape the future of development. The summit, scheduled to take place on June 11–12, 2026, will convene youth leaders, innovators, policymakers, and development experts under the banner of WBGYS26 #FutureWorks, creating space for bold ideas and collaborative solutions to global challenges.

The Youth Summit is an initiative of the World Bank Group and provides young people with a unique opportunity to connect with global leaders, explore innovative approaches to development, and contribute meaningfully to conversations on inclusive growth, job creation, sustainability, and technology-driven progress. Applications are currently open for two main engagement tracks: Delegate and Pitch Competition, with more engagement opportunities expected to be announced.

Selected delegates will gain global exposure, practical insights into development work, and access to influential networks of policymakers, experts, and fellow youth leaders. The summit experience is designed to strengthen leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills while offering meaningful engagement with international development institutions.

Pitch Competition finalists will receive tailored coaching to refine their ideas before presenting them on a global stage. Finalists will showcase their solutions at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington, DC, gaining international visibility. Winners will receive mentorship from World Bank Group experts, providing valuable guidance to help scale and strengthen their initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
The Youth Summit is open to young people from around the world who are between the ages of 18 and 35 throughout the duration of the event. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in global development, leadership, innovation, and youth engagement. Individuals from diverse academic, professional, and community backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including students, entrepreneurs, civil society actors, and early-career professionals who are passionate about driving sustainable and inclusive change in their communities and beyond.

For the Delegate Track, applicants should be motivated to actively participate in keynote sessions, expert panels, interactive discussions, innovation labs for in-person attendees, networking opportunities with World Bank Group leaders and partners, and career development sessions with major international organizations. Delegates will also participate in live audience voting during the Pitch Competition finals and receive an official certificate of participation.

For the Pitch Competition Track, applicants must present bold and scalable solutions addressing pressing development challenges in areas such as education, agriculture, technology, innovation, inclusive growth, and sustainable development. Selected finalists will receive professional coaching and the opportunity to present their ideas live during the Youth Summit at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington, DC. Winners will benefit from mentorship provided by experts within the World Bank Group.
Eligible Countries
The World Bank Group Youth Summit 2026 is open to young people from all countries worldwide. Applicants from any region are welcome to apply, provided they meet the age requirement of 18–35 years throughout the event period.
