Program Benefits
The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a fully funded program covering all tuition and fees for the duration of your degree at McGill University. In addition, each scholar receives a living stipend of CAD 2,300 per month during academic terms, as well as a one-time relocation grant to help with moving to Montréal.

Beyond financial support, the program offers access to French language courses, leadership training, one-on-one coaching, and mentorship opportunities with professionals and community leaders. Scholars can also apply for up to CAD 5,000 in funding to support summer projects or meaningful initiatives. The McCall MacBain community provides an exceptional environment for growth, collaboration, and long-term impact.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the McCall MacBain Scholarship, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Applicants should be current students who are on track to earn their first bachelor’s degree by August 2026, or they must have earned their first bachelor’s degree within the last five years (January 2020 or later). Those who obtained their degree more than five years ago are also eligible if they are 30 years or younger as of January 1, 2025. Candidates must also be applying for a full-time master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University.

The selection process values individuals who demonstrate leadership potential, academic strength, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in their communities. The program accepts applicants from all countries — both Canadian and international — provided they meet the academic and leadership criteria.
