FULLY FUNDED OPPORTUNITY FOR AFRICAN GERMAN SPEAKERS: Apply for the 2025 IPS program for SubSaharan Africa
The German Parliament invites enthusiastic recent graduates from countries in Africa like Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Senegal, Nigeria, and Ghana to join the International Parliamentary Scholarship program.
This program, running for four weeks each January, offers up to 24 fellows a chance to learn about Germany's parliamentary system firsthand. Participants will shadow a Member of the German Bundestag for a week and take part in workshops covering various topics like democracy, minority rights, and project management.
They'll receive a stipend of 700 euros, insurance coverage, free accommodation, and travel expenses to and from Berlin. Applicants will go through an interview process at a German embassy, where a committee will select fellows based on their skills and interest in politics.
