Fully Funded study trip to France & Germany : Apply for the Youth for Energy Futures Programme

Virage Énergie, in collaboration with the Heinrich Böll Foundation, is offering young individuals from France, Germany, and Italy a chance to explore the key issues surrounding Europe’s ecological and energy transition.

The program is designed to equip and connect emerging leaders and public influencers, enabling them to champion a more equitable and sustainable future.

The 2025 edition centers on the intersection of gender equality and the energy transition. Participants will explore how initiatives in the energy sector can serve as tools to address broader social inequalities, including gender disparities—highlighting practices such as feminist approaches to urban design and inclusive budgeting for green policies. At the same time, they will examine how inadequate or poorly structured policies can unintentionally reinforce gender gaps, particularly in areas like energy and transportation access.

Learning will take place through a virtual expert-led seminar and a study visit to Freiburg (Germany) and Strasbourg (France). During the trip, participants will engage with local authorities, researchers, activists, and members of the European Parliament, and visit pioneering projects driving inclusive climate action.
