Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 African Futures Conference, a dynamic gathering that welcomes bold and imaginative contributions from youth changemakers across the continent. This year’s convening will take place in Pretoria and invites young visionaries under the age of 35 to share their unique ideas about what Africa could look like in 2050.

Participants are encouraged to express their perspectives through either a short video of up to three minutes or a compelling written narrative of no more than 1,500 words. These submissions should capture innovative, hopeful, or transformative visions for the continent’s future, blending creativity with insight.

A select group of three outstanding contributors will receive the chance to travel to Pretoria and take part in the event in person, joining leading thinkers, decision-makers, and foresight experts from across Africa. It’s an exciting opportunity for emerging voices to be heard on a continental stage, connect with influential networks, and help shape the conversations driving Africa’s long-term transformation.
