The Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva, a globally recognized leader in research, offers the Excellence Fellowship program for outstanding and highly motivated students who wish to pursue a Master of Science degree in any of the disciplines covered by the Faculty.

The research areas include astronomy, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, pharmaceutical sciences, earth sciences, and environmental science.

Key Features of the Fellowship:

• Duration: Awarded for one year, with the possibility of extension for the full duration of the Master's program (3 or 4 semesters), provided the student achieves academic success in their first semester.
• Disciplines: Available for Master's degrees in a variety of scientific fields, either entirely in English or in both English and French.

Application Requirements:

• A scan of your national identity card or passport
• A Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages)
• Transcript of exams passed during undergraduate studies, with grades
• A motivation letter outlining your scientific interests and why you want to pursue a Master's degree at the University of Geneva
• If available, letters of recommendation from two professors (preferably sent directly to Excellence-Master-Sciences@unige.ch)
• Any additional information such as GRE, TOEFL, or other language test results
