FULLY FUNDED TO TUNISIA: Apply for the GreenXMENA” Regional Youth Conference 2025 for young changemakers in the MENA region

Applications are open for an exciting, fully funded chance to travel to Tunisia for the GreenX MENA 2025 Regional Youth Forum. This gathering, hosted in Tunis by the Arab Youth Green Voices Network in partnership with Green Gate 4 MENA and supported by the Dutch government, will spotlight youth-led approaches to strengthen climate and water resilience across the Middle East and North Africa.

The event is designed to bring together young changemakers who are passionate about issues of water, climate, social justice, and inclusive policymaking. Taking place from October 29 to 31, 2025 (with a possibility of slight date adjustments), the forum carries the theme “Youth for Water and Climate Resilience.” As the first regional platform of its kind, it aims to elevate youth perspectives, amplify green voices, and co-create practical solutions that align with global development priorities, particularly Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 13.

Over the course of the forum, participants will dive into meaningful exchanges that explore the intersection of water challenges and climate change, the importance of equity and justice in environmental action, and the power of youth engagement in shaping policy and collaboration across different sectors. The outcomes will feed into a youth-driven action plan and a comprehensive policy paper to be showcased at key international gatherings, including COP30 in Belém later in 2025, the UN Water Conference in Dubai in 2026, and the World Water Forum in Riyadh in 2027.

This initiative seeks young people between 18 and 35 who hold citizenship in a MENA country, ideally residing in the region. Applicants should demonstrate genuine interest or experience in climate, water, social equity, policy advocacy, or youth-led environmental initiatives. The organizers emphasize authenticity—applications must reflect original thoughts and personal experiences, and any responses generated by AI tools will not be considered.

The deadline for submissions is August 17, 2025, and selected participants will gain not only full sponsorship but also an invaluable opportunity to connect with regional institutions and networks advancing youth-driven environmental action.
