Applications are open for the 2025 Standard Chartered Women in Tech Incubator Programme in Ghana! This initiative empowers female-led and women-owned tech-enabled businesses with training, mentorship, and equity-free funding opportunities to grow and scale their ventures.

Standard Chartered Women in Tech (SCWIT) is a flagship incubator under Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC’s Futuremakers portfolio, implemented by the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) at Ashesi University. It’s designed to support women founders using technology to solve real-world problems and scale their businesses sustainably. 

This programme equips participants with business development skills, mentorship, critical networks, and access to funding — enabling them to strengthen their operations, increase impact, and grow to the next level.

Program Benefits
Selected participants will gain access to a comprehensive incubation experience that includes high-level entrepreneurial training and a structured Mini MBA programme focused on leadership, financial management, digital transformation, and business growth strategies. Founders will receive personalised mentorship and advisory support from experienced industry professionals and ecosystem partners. The programme also offers networking opportunities, exposure to investors, and access to legal, financial, and technology support services designed to strengthen business operations. At the end of the incubation period, top finalists will have the opportunity to receive equity-free grant funding of up to USD 10,000 in Ghana cedi equivalent to scale their ventures and expand their impact.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Standard Chartered Women in Tech Incubator Programme, applicants must be Ghanaian women who own at least 50 percent equity in a legally registered business operating in Ghana. The business must have been in operation for a minimum of twelve months and should demonstrate clear use of technology or innovation in delivering its products or services. Applicants must show strong commitment to fully participate in all stages of the incubation programme, including training sessions, mentorship meetings, and pitch events. Women entrepreneurs from underserved regions and women living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply, as the programme promotes inclusive participation across the country.
