The AFC Fellowship brings together emerging leaders from across Africa, the wider global South, and the global North.
In addition to being a curriculum for developing leaders, the AFC Fellowship serves as a forum for discussion and interaction amongst rising generation leaders in the global North and South. The main concerns of the world are the climate crisis and other pressing challenges. It will bolster the potential of a group of vibrant up-and-coming leaders who, as their careers develop, will forge new connections between the global North and South and identify innovative solutions to the climate challenge.
Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) and Common Purpose collaborate on the AFC Fellowship. The AFC Fellowship expands upon the accomplishments of the trial programme, which included 50 international participants and ran in 2023.
