Applications are open for the I Am Worth GBV Ambassadors Program – Cohort 2, a transformative leadership and advocacy initiative by the I Am Worth Initiative that empowers passionate young Africans to take action against gender-based violence (GBV) and champion gender equality across the continent. This program offers an opportunity for emerging changemakers to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and practical tools to design and implement impactful community projects that drive social change and promote safer, more inclusive communities across Africa.

This fully immersive program equips participants with the skills, mentorship, and tools needed to design and implement impactful community projects that tackle GBV in their local contexts. Selected ambassadors will also receive leadership training and advocacy support, culminating in the I Am Worth Summit 2026, set to take place in Kenya, where they will present their projects and celebrate their achievements.

Program Overview
The GBV Ambassadors Program builds a network of empowered young leaders driving social transformation across Africa. Participants will:

• Gain hands-on experience in advocacy, policy engagement, and community mobilization.

• Learn to develop and execute localized solutions addressing GBV prevention and response.

• Collaborate with peers and mentors through interactive sessions and peer-learning opportunities.

• Represent the I Am Worth brand as champions for safety, equality, and human dignity.

The I Am Worth GBV Ambassadors Program is more than a fellowship — it’s a movement to transform awareness into action and build safer, more inclusive communities across Africa.
