Funded : Apply for the Sister-to-Sister Young Feminist Leadership Program 2025

The Nobel Women’s Initiative (NWI) is now accepting applications for the 2025 Sister-to-Sister Young Feminist Leadership Program—a dynamic 6-week virtual experience designed to empower young women leaders advancing peace, gender equality, and climate justice.

Now in its second decade, this flagship initiative brings together 25 young feminist activists from around the world for an immersive program focused on feminist leadership, resilience, and transformative action.

2025 Focus: Climate Justice & Feminist Leadership

This year’s theme, “Rooted and Rising,” draws inspiration from Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai and centers on the powerful intersection of climate justice and gender equality. It uplifts women from Indigenous, frontline, and Global South communities, who are disproportionately impacted by environmental degradation, yet often excluded from decision-making processes.

Selection Considerations:

  • Global and regional representation
  • Backgrounds in peacebuilding, demilitarization, feminist climate justice, or related advocacy
  • Commitment to collective learning and network-building
  • Aspirations for political leadership and long-term impact

What to Expect:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for Zoom group interviews
  • Honorarium requires submission of valid bank details
  • No feedback will be given on applications

Theme: Rooted and Rising
Program Dates: 1 September – 6 October 2025
Format: Fully Virtual | Honorarium Provided

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 18 July 2025 at 11:59 PM ET.
