The 2025 Changemakers Africa Incubation Program is now accepting applications. Organized by the Swiss Re Foundation in collaboration with Bridge for Billions, this five-month intensive initiative is tailored for budding entrepreneurs across Africa who are developing socially-driven ventures in the fields of health and climate. The program aims to support early-stage innovators by strengthening their business models, offering dedicated mentorship, and connecting them to a global ecosystem of change leaders.

To qualify, applicants must be operating a social enterprise within the health or climate sectors that is still in its infancy — ideally established within the last two years or currently in the prototype stage. Ideal candidates are looking for structured guidance in areas like business strategy, marketing, fundraising, and impact tracking. Fluency in English is essential, as all program activities are conducted in the language, and participants should be able to commit around 6–8 hours each week over five months. A stable internet connection and access to a laptop or desktop computer are also required.

Participants will join a vibrant network of fellow entrepreneurs, seasoned mentors, and professionals from Swiss Re, who will offer tailored advice, constructive feedback, and accountability support throughout the journey. This collaborative environment encourages knowledge exchange, mutual support, and long-lasting professional relationships.

At the conclusion of the program, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their ventures during a final showcase. The top three participants will receive financial awards to further develop their projects: the winner will receive $15,000, second place will get $10,000, and third place will be awarded $5,000. This experience not only enhances the growth of your venture but also opens doors to lifelong connections and future opportunities.
