The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, in partnership with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nairobi, has issued a call for proposals for the Small Grants Program.

Eligible projects should align with the key sectors outlined in the Slovak Republic’s Medium-term Strategy for Development Cooperation (2025–2030), which include:
- Inclusive and quality education
- Healthcare and well-being
- Transparent governance and civic engagement
- Food security and sustainable agriculture
- Infrastructure development and responsible resource use
- Promoting market-based economic environments

Each project lasts between 6 and 12 months, beginning immediately after the small grant agreement goes into effect.

Program Benefits
The maximum non-repayable financial contribution is 10,000 EUR per project. The maximum number of selected projects is limited by the amount granted for this call for proposals, which is €70,000.
Eligibility Criteria
**Eligibility Criteria**
The call for proposals is open to officially registered entities that are:
* Non-commercial, non-entrepreneurial legal organizations
* Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
* Units of local or regional self-government
**Ineligible Applicants**
Entities are not eligible to apply if they:
* Are subject to international sanctions under Act No. 289/2016 Coll. of the Slovak Republic concerning the enforcement of international sanctions
* Have outstanding financial obligations or debts owed to the Slovak Republic
